Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Natasha has spent nearly two decades perfecting the artistry and craft of hairstyling. As the second oldest of her sisters, Natasha essentially grew up doing hair. Since fifth grade, she was in charge of brushing and braiding the heads of her younger siblings, and continued styling her friends an family all the way through college. After graduating from Delaware State University in 2009 with a degree in Mass Communications, Natasha made her way into the working world. 

During her time working in corporate, Natasha’s drive to succeed led her to create a side business of her own, HAIR to be Different LLC., a beauty retailer specializing in hair extensions. As her business grew, Natasha’s interest in the beauty industry as well as her passion for hair began to overshadow her corporate life. She knew that in order to follow her heart, she would have to make a serious change.

In 2014, Natasha made her way to the hair capital of the world, New York City, where she continued developing her knowledge and skills at the Aveda Institute. As a New York State Cosmetology license holder, Natasha was accepted into the prestigious apprenticeship program at Bumble and bumble in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. From 2015-2017, she worked alongside senior colorists in the salon four days a week, while perfecting her Balayage/Painting techniques in weekly classes.

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Natasha is an avid freelancer from backstage to behind the screen. Her flawless attention to detail and ability to work under pressure has led her to style hair for numerous editorial shoots and campaigns. As well as over 10 NYFW shows. Natasha has also worked for MTV, Nickelodeon, Netflix, One Digital, & Ozy Media production companies, just to name a few. She has also teamed-up with some of the industry’s top stylists including Edward Lampley, Jimmy Paul, Marki Shkreli, Jawara Wauchope, Lucas Wilson, and Betsy Reyes.
